Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and former Institute of Culinary Education instructor she is a popular TV host. Burrell hosts Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and also serves as the host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her signature spiky blond locks and pumped up personality, provides basic techniques anyone can master. Chef Burrell has worked in top New York restaurants and studied Italian cuisine and environment. Additionally, she competed in the Food Network's Iron Chef America. When she was a kid in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was attracted by the food. After earning an English and Communications degree from Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her interest in the industry of restaurants by enrolling into The Culinary Institute of America. I loved every minute as a student The Culinary Institute of America she states. It was difficult to master about, practice or do all the things I did. Following her graduation, Chef Burrell was able to spend a full year in Italy studying at an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners during her time at La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 a one Michelin-starred restaurant located in Tuscany. She gained a deeper understanding of Italian culinary and cultural traditions throughout her time in Italy and this has affected her style of cooking. Burrell is a well-known ambassador to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation and was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board, which helps kids who have challenges. Burrell travels extensively across the United States in her position in the capacity of mentor as well as the guest speaker who discusses her professional life and the joy of cooking. Through the course of her cooking career, Anne has often said that I am extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to share my true passion within my life with other people.
